The word Yoga

The word Yoga is derived from the Sanskrit root yuj meaning connection. Usually western people think that yoga includes only the physical exercises (hatha yoga). But Yoga consists of different Yoga activities.

  The function of different poses (asanas) is to relax the body and the soul. They give the opportunity to concentrate on two main aspects of yoga: education and meditation.

 Harmony – way of life
  Harmony is a key to the happy life and the peaceful mind. Even if a man doesn’t know the perfection he tries to gain it and wish himself happiness and prosperity all the time.
In our mundane life every day we should overcome hundreds of difficulties and provocations. Rarely we meet sources of happiness.
Then questions arise:
Is there a place of perfection or a place where we can find the key to our success in life?
How as persons we can contribute to our own abilities and talents?
     

How to keep a harmony between the entire world and us?
How to gain a success in our life without being an obstacle for the needs and wishes of the others?


The key to harmonious life is the balance between the body, mind and soul. The four elements for balancing these three parts are:

• Proper nutrition for our body
• Proper breathing for getting the energy we need for our life
• Health care
• Mental balance


As a starting point of our trip of self-discovery, you will explore the limits of your body by the practice of body postures (Asana), breathing exercises (Pranayama) and concentration techniques (Dhyana).
Relaxation will make you realize that your body is a marvellous machine, which will obey your command to improve your well being.
Regulation of breathing helps calm the mind and clears the path for raising one's self-awareness. The body postures will condition your body and you will learn how to control its physical functions and demands.
The practice of asana has a purifying effect on the body, particularly the internal organs and leads to perfect physical and mental health. This practice always finishes with deep relaxation where your entire body is completely rejuvenated.

     
  A feeling of deep inner tranquillity is acquired as the practitioner radiates perfect love and peace to his environment. It is important that every searcher should advance decisively and critically to walk his way by himself.
     
Using only instructions and books takes a person away from thinking independently and taking responsibilities. Especially what concern health and human relations the common sense of everybody should be always on alert in order to find our own weaknesses and to advance constantly.
